The Best Voice in Keene is a singing competition produced by Karaoke Queen Entertainment and held at Bender's Bar & Grill in Keene! More than 45 singers auditioned. The top 20 contestants were chosen to move into the 4 week competition to be held on June 8, June 15, June 22, and June 29th at Bender's Bar & Grill in Keene! The show will start at 7p each night! Yes! Bender's Bar & Grill has a full dinner menu and a full bar! Servers will come right to your table!
A majority of the seating will be at tables. You can purchase table seating for as few as 2 people or as many as 8 people. You may also purchase a single general admission ticket, but you won't be guaranteed a seat at a table and you may not be seated with the other people in your party. All ticket holders will receive a ballot at the start of each show so that you may cast your vote for your favorite singer at the end of the show! The audience vote will count towards 50% of the contestants overall score!
On the first week of the competition, the top 20 adults will perform and the judges and audience (ticket holders) will vote at the end of the show. The top 18 contestants will move on to week 2.
On the second week of the competition, the top 18 adults and 2 youth contestants will perform. The judges and audience will vote at the end of the show. The top 16 adult contestants will move on to week 3!
On the third week of the competition, the top 16 adults and 2 youth contestants will perform. The judges and audience will vote at the end of the show. The top 10 adult contestants will move on to the finale and the top 2 kids will move onto the kids finale to be held on week 4.
On the fourth week *(finale) of the competition, the top 10 adults and top 2 youth contestants will perform and the judges and audience will vote at the end of the show. The top vote getter in the adult competition will be crowned the Best Voice in Keene and win $2,500! The second place finisher will receive $500 and the third place finisher will receive $250. In the kids competition, 1st place will receive $100 and 2nd place win $50.
There will be 2 judges on each competition date. The judges will provide feedback to you after your performance and will give you a score. The judges score will account for 50% of the overall vote.
The other 50% of the vote will come from the audience! Each member of the audience will vote at the end of the show for their favorite singer!
The results will be announced later that night.
Besides bragging rights... The top vote getter in the adult competition will be crowned the Best Voice in Keene and win $2,500! The second place finisher will receive $500 and the third place finisher will receive $250.
In the kids competition, 1st place will receive $100 and 2nd place will win $50.
